Nahvalur Nautilus Caldera Sea LE Fountain Pen
When we first saw Nahvalur’s pens, we were struck by their beauty and quality of construction. Always a bit skeptical of something that seems too good to be true, we purchased a couple a year ago and put them to the test. One got a cursive italic grind and the other was kept as-is. They amazed us! With daily use both pens are still like new and work as well as they did the day we purchased them. We are astounded by their quality and are pleased to be able to now offer our clients Nahvalur’s unique combination of superior quality, great materials, and reasonable prices.
Introduced in the fall of 2021, the Nahvalur Nautilus combines vintage materials with modern designs. When fountain pens were first invented, all pens were made of a hardened rubber called ebonite. Today, hardly any pen companies are still using this beautiful material. Nautilus series is bringing back this vintage material while combining modern design elements, with three portholes carefully crafted into the body of the barrel so you can see the ink reserve.
The Caldera Sea is a limited edition Nautilus with only 400 pieces worldwide. Each pen is numbered. Nahvalur introduces a new plating technic on this model. We carefully mix blue dye into gold plating solution to coat our nibs and metal parts bright blue color. This pen also features Nahvalur in-house made stainless steel nib or you can also fit 14K in-house made gold nib.
