03	Sailor "Dia-Ichi Seimei" 70th Anniversary Limited Edition, Fine Nib
Condition: N2 No brassing, chips, cracks, dings, or significant scratches. Sailor produced this pen to commemorate the 70th anniversary of Dai-Ichi Seimei (Dai Ichi Life Insurance Company) in 1972. It has a unique plastic finish meant to mimic leather or ishime lacquer (stone-type finish). Special 70th anniversary imprint on the 14k fine nib. Uses Sailor cartridges/converter (not included). 06	Platinum Short Telescoping, Extra Fine Nib
Condition: B No brassing, chips, cracks, significant scratches, or dings. This unique model was produced between 1966 and 1968. When you remove the cap, the front section telescopes out giving you a full-sized pen. One of the neatest Japanese pocket pens we have seen. Light scratches and wear. Takes modern Pilot cartridges/converters (not included). 14k extra fine semi-hooded nib has a line width of 0.3 mm. This pen was manufactured April 6th, 1968. Cartridge/Converter Filler. 08	Sailor "21K" Pocket Pen, Extra Fine Nib

Appears to have never been inked and is in excellent condition. This 21k gold extra fine nib is a product of the “Karat Wars.” The 21K nib offers a line width of 0.3 mm. 09	Sailor "21K" Pink Pocket Pen, Extra Fine Nib
Condition: B+ No brassing, chips, cracks, dings, or significant scratches. Interesting salmon pink color with gold accent band at the end of the barrel. Like new in excellent condition with two tiny spots where the frosting is missing, about the size of the tip of a straight pin. This 21k gold fine nib is a product of the “Karat Wars.” The 21K nib offers a line width of 0.3 mm. Uses only Sailor cartridges (not included). 10	Platinum Cross-Hatch Pattern, Extra Fine Nib
Condition: N1 No brassing, chips, cracks, dings, or significant scratches. Features a metal cross-hatch pattern cap and barrel. Like new without a trace of ink. Steel nib is extra fine. 11	Platinum Honest 66 #150, Fine Nib
Condition:B No brassing, chips, cracks, dings, or significant scratches. Platinum was the first major pen company to produce cartridges in Japan, and this pen comes from one of their first series of cartridge pens of the late 1950s. Clip has the early S-N logo used by Platinum until the mid 60s. Scarce to find in nice shape due to weak plating, and this one is one of the better examples you'll see. Some light wear to the cap. 12	Pilot Capless Vanishing Point White Stripe, Fine Nib
Condition: B- No brassing, chips, cracks, dings, or significant scratches. In 1971 Pilot introduced two striped Capless models. This version, model C-400ss with white stripes rather than black, is hard to find. It's probably the most visually striking model Pilot produced. Made for only a few years, these can sell for well over $1000 in perfect condition. This one has some brassing to the chrome plated button, much loss to the "Capless" barrel imprint (a common problem with this model), some wear scratches, and a very light ding to the nose cone. The green painted markings on the nib unit also are mostly gone, which is also common. Even though it's far from "perfect" cosmetically, it is fully functioning it is a bargain at this price. 14k fine nib. Pen Takes modern Pilot cartridges/converter (not included). 13	Pilot Capless / Vanishing Point CN-400BS, Fine Nib
SOLD Condition: B No brassing, chips, cracks, dings, or significant scratches. Pilot redesigned the Capless again in 1973 producing this model through the early 1980s. This was the first Capless sold under the "Vanishing Point" name outside of Japan. Many feel this is the most pleasant to use model ever produced with its round barrel and metal construction. The original nib unit is interchangeable with modern ones too. Some light surface wear to the button. Ready to be an everyday user or prized collectible. Lovely black matte and brushed furniture. 14	Pilot Capless / Vanishing Point Twist Model, Fine Nib
Condition: N2 No brassing, chips, cracks, dings, or significant scratches. In 1965 Pilot introduced this model C-500MW as a more luxurious option with a twist mechanism similar to the original 1963 Capless. Selling at the time for five times the price of its push-button compatriot, these are now a good bit harder to find. This one is ready to be used. There is plating loss to the clip, some minor scratching, and has a name engraved in kanji to the barrel. It uses long discontinued Pilot Double Spare cartridges or CON-W converters. A scarce new old stock box of Pilot Double Spare cartridges is included with this pen. 14K fine nib made in November 1965. Pen Length: 5^1/₂" (140 mm) Price: $250.00
15	Sheaffer Imperial Sterling, Fine Nib
SOLD Condition: B No brassing, chips, cracks, or significant scratches. A lovely sterling silver Sheaffer that is ready for your writing pleasure. Even patina that gives this pen a wonderful look. 16	Sheaffer Admiral, Medium Semi-Flex Nib
SOLD Condition: C No brassing, chips, cracks, dings, or significant scratches. We were surprised by this pen. While it looks like a common Craftsman pen is not. Most people automatically assume Craftsman with the wire cap band but with the FeatherTouch nib this would be an Admiral. Very nice semi-flex nib that offers a line width of 0.6 mm to 1.0 mm. 17	Burnham Red & Gray, Broad Nib
SOLD Condition: B+ No brassing, chips, cracks, dings, or significant scratches. Attractive English made pen with a wonderful red and gray marbled celluloid. Very interesting plated steel nib. 18	Parker Duofold Junior Jade, XXF Nib

19	Esterbrook SJ Herringbone Sample
Condition: A1 No brassing, chips, cracks, dings, or significant scratches. Quite a rare and unusual piece. This is most likely a factory sample or prototype. The pattern was never put into production as far as we know and is not listed in catalogs. The cap on this pen is permanently attached and is imprinted with "Herringbone Barrel - Cap". 20	Schnell Penselpen Pearl and Black, Fine Nib - Extra Fine Nib
Condition: B No brassing, chips, cracks, dings, or significant scratches. Very rare combo, features "airplane" clip designed as a tribute to Charles Lindbergh's historic 1927 solo Atlantic crossing. Pencil uses 1.1 mm leads. Schnell slide filler. THIS IS NOT A LEVER-FILLER EVEN THOUGH IT LOOKS LIKE ONE. RAISING THE SLIDE AS IF IT WERE A LEVER WILL DESTROY IT. From Richard's personal collection. 22	LeBoeuf Granite Oversized, Extra Fine Nib

It has been restored again so the next owner can fully enjoy it. I am told that this gray granite color is one of the hardest to find in the oversized sleeve filler. 26	Parker Lucky Curve DQ Lined BHR, Extra Fine Nib
Condition: B. No brassing, chips, cracks, dings or significant scratches. This one is something special. Parker used the DQ (Duofold Quality) name from 1924-1933. But they Parker "D.Q." imprint was only used in 1924. There just aren't many of these pens around with the "D.Q." imprint. Solid black color of the hard rubber and vertical lines running up and down the body and cap. Correct bandless cap. The 14K Duofold nib has a 0.4 mm line width. Button Filler. 34	Morrison Army Patriot Set, Fine Nib

36	Parker Vacumatic Standard Burgundy Pearl, Fine+ Nib

First generation produced in 1938, this gem is a must have for the Vacumatic collector and one of the nicest examples we have had. 14K nib is marked fine+ because the line width is right between fine and medium at 0.54 mm. 37	ST Dupont Classique, Broad Nib

40	Nettuno Barracuda, Medium Nib
SOLD Condition: N2 No brassing, chips, cracks, or significant scratches. Quite the interesting pen, and the first one we have seen in person. Nettuno actually did the exact same version for the 2006 Turin Winter Olympics. This one is 01965 in the Barracuda production. Square body with normal round grip section. Polished steel medium nib. All of our tray pens are fully restored to good writing condition unless otherwise noted. By “good writing condition” is meant, in addition to proper function, that nibs are aligned, set for reasonable flow, and not scratchy. Particularly nice writers are so noted in their descriptions.

Except for pens that are described as being in “mint” or NOS condition, these are used pens. We guarantee all of our restoration work (resacking, nib adjustments, etc.), and we ship the pens in good working order. However, they are still used pens, and we cannot make the same guarantees against defects or for length of life that their manufacturers made (such as Sheaffer's Lifetime guarantee).

CAUTION
Empirical evidence collected over several years has made it clear that some Noodler’s inks can and will destroy pens. Many vintage pens, because of the materials of which they are made, are especially susceptible to destruction by these inks. For this reason, our guarantee is void if a pen you purchase from us fails after you have used any Noodler’s ink in it. For more information, read our article on inks

We grade pens according to the following condition scale. Within a grade, we use + or – to indicate shades of variation; for example, a pen that is B+ falls into the B grade and shows so little use that it is only marginally not A2.

Condition		Description
A1		“Mint” (uninked). Shows no signs of use.
A2		“Mint” (inked). As for A1 but may have been dipped or inked.
N1		New Old Stock (NOS). Unsold dealer or manufacturer stock. Not dipped or inked but may show shop wear.
N2		New Old Stock (NOS). Same as N1 but may have been dipped.
B		Excellent. All parts original and showing only very slight signs of use. Very slight surface scratching; very minor discoloration or brassing; crisp imprints; no significant dings.
C		Fine. All parts original. Some discoloration and brassing; light or worn imprints; small dings to metal or scratching on plastic.
D		Fair. Some parts possibly not original; significant brassing or discoloration; very worn imprints; dings and scratches. Maybe a good writing pen or usable for parts.
